There is more to tying than catching fish.

Hi,

Based on the N. Coast of Co. Antrim in N. Ireland - my home waters are the numerous burns and streams feeding the R. Bush (possibly more famous for it's whiskey than salmon).
Fish of choice - wild, brown trout

Best,
Andy

Hi everyone,
I'm new to this post but have been fly fishing and tying flies since the mid 70's.
Recently relocated to Clearwater, FL. Still consider my homewaters to be the streams and rivers of southern Sweden.
Brown trout remain my favourite fish to pursue.
I've been tying on a HMH Pedestal Standard for the last couple of years, even though I'm still also using an old favourite from the early 80's: a Cartercraft Pfli tandem vise (a really great tool too...).

Hi all, I'm new to this board and recently purchased my first HMH vise (about 4 doz. flys ago) and love it. What a big difference from my old vise.

I'm from Paonia, Colorado on the western slope (SW Colorado).

Local waters are the North fork and Main stream of the Gunnison River, and hundreds of mountain lakes and streams on the Grand Mesa and in the West Elk Mountains.

We have most of the common species of trout including Brook, Rainbow, Cut throat, Cut-Bows, Brown, Lake Trout, Splake, and Grayling. And it's possible to catch most or all of these in a single day! We also have good warm water fishing in the lower elevation Reservoirs.

Home : Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. on the side of what use to be the greatest Salmon river in the world. Angry

Fish for all species of salmon; Chinook, Sockey, Pink, Coho, Chum. Also for the various species of trout and char found in the 1000's of lakes and rivers in BC.
Biggest on the Fly: 18lbs Chinook, also known as Spring or King Salmon.

Favourite River: Vedder / Chilliwack

25 + years flyfishing and 20 years of tying, someone has to supply my bother in laws with them. Undecided
