I don't fish Streamers alot but I did tie these for when I go up to Maine. I have the Dave Footer Special, Golden Witch, and a fly that I found in Forgoten Flies called a Crain Prairie Streamer. Enjoy Russ

Flynfeathers, very nice classic streamers, tell us how the fish (although they look too nice to put in water).
How long have you had your Forgotten Flies Book? They are hard to find.

Hi Humm,
Unfortunately the Smallmouth's love the Footer Special. I hate catching Smallies when I'm Trout fishing.
I got Forgotten Flies at Hunter's it was the last copy, I also have Rare and Unusual; Vol 2.
I bought the Carrie Stevens streamer poster as well. I framed it and it's hanging at my tying bench.
Also I hate the Grizzly saddle feathers I used for the Prairie streamer, At the time I didn't have any neck's.
Russ
Also food for thought,. The rule of thumb is that the wing feather should only stick past the hook the lenght of the hook gap.
