Happy Holidays all...

I want to thank everyone for making the HMH Fly Tyers Forum a success - and it can only get better as new members join and start posting! In an effort to help HMH reach its goal of 100 forum members by Jan 1st, 2009, refer a new member and I'll put both you and the new member in a special drawing for some great HMH prizes. Just send me a private message and tell me who you referred to the forum (please send user names). I'll maintain a list and draw names for cool prizes after the new year...

Thanks again and I look forward to more great forum topics and posts from you and the new members you bring to the forum!

Craig

Thank You Craig,

Regardless of the contest and prizes, I think you have done a wonderful job of promoting and maintaining this message board. I've been tying for a while, and I have read a lot of books on fly tying, but I'm amazed at how much I continue to learn from this site. The quality of the membership reflects the quality and commitment HMH gives to everything they do. I was really worried that we would not have enough members to keep it going, but things are looking great!

Thanks! ,

Hummmoss

Thanks Hummmoss!

It's the members that make the board. I too have learned a lot. Let's just keep this thing rolling...

Woah,

I didn't even notice this posting. I had no idea about this. I have been too busy with school work (papers, readings and assignments) to post in the last few weeks.

Regardless of the extra prizes I believe this site is a great resource and a prize itself. I am sure this site will only become exponentially more popular as more members join.

Even though I am not fortunate to own an hmh vise I do like the tube fly tools quite a bit.

Thanks to all who have helped spread the word about the HMH Fly Tying Forum and those who have joined the forum as a result. It's finally time to draw the two lucky winners out of the hat for our Member Drive Prize Giveaway. And the winners are (drum roll please as John reaches into the hat...). Congrats to Wilcoxma and Hummmoss! An HMH Tiers Bag ($34.95 value) is on the way.

Here's a brief description of the HMH Tyer's Tool Bag.
Padded, cordura nylon bag with ample pockets to hold vises, all tools, and a variety of materials for easy transport. Doubles as a great reel/gear bag for fishing trips. Extra-large double zipper, two carrying handles, D-ring, shoulder strap. Approx. 14"Lx5"Wx7"H.

Thanks again to all members for making the forum a great resource!

Congrats guys!

That is a wicked prize, and a fantastic thing for HMH to do! Post a photo of the bag after you fill it with goodies,

Here is a picture of the HMH bag I won! Thanks Again Craig, John and Barbra.
The bag is awesome, it is just the right size for traveling. It will fit any series HMH vise ( I have a Silhouette and the pictured Spartan). Inside this padded beauty are a number of pockets for tools and materials. Inside the bottom of the bag you will find a built in Velcro holder for the pedestal base. This this is a rugged well made bag that will last a long time.

Tight Wraps,
Hummmoss
